Hubert Sumlin is among the greatest of all blues guitarists and his passing on December 4, 2011 was a tough blow to the blues, especially after so many other 2011 passings by Chicago Blues Legends (Pinetop Perkins. Honeyboy Edwards, Willie "Big Eyes" Smith, and Mojo Buford were a;lso among the year's casualties).
