Chico Chism is one of the most well traveled blues drummers in the business. Best known as Howlin' Wolf's last drummer, Chico has also worked and recorded with Roscoe Gordon, Clifton Chenier, T.V. Slim, Sunnyland Slim, The Choker Campbell Band (featuring Big Joe Turner), Little Junior Parker, Sonny Boy Williamson II and many more. Chico Chism and Bob Corritore first met in the mid 1970s while Chico was drumming for Howlin Wolf. Their ongoing association was solidified in 1986 when, at Bob's invitation, Chico moved from Chicago to Phoenix. Since then their enduring partnership has become well-known in blues circles as they regularly perform and record together, often backing some of the top names in the blues.
