The show was co-hosted by Bill Wax, of XM Satellite Radio’s Bluesville Station and Brett Fleming of WEVL 89.9 (Memphis). On this showcase, Rand Chortkoff combined highlights from his label and its friends (thank you Rand) and Nick and Kate Moss' Blue Bella label. It all took place at the Gibson Beale Street Showcase.

December 31, 2004 - The TV special "Valley Blues" was re-aired at 8:00 pm and 11:00 pm. On this show Bob performed with Louisiana Red, Paris James, and the Chief. Also on the show were Sistah Blue and the Big Pete Pearson Blues Band. This special won two local Emmy awards earlier that year.

April 13-14, 2001 - Appeared at the Rhythm Room with the Big Pete Pearson Blues Band for the CD Release Party celebrating Pete's new CD One More Drink. Bob plays on three tracks on the CD and played the middle of three sets each night.

April 19, 2001 - Appeared at the Rhythm Room with Chico Chism and the Rhythm Room All Stars (Chico, Bob, Johnny Rapp and Paul Thomas), plus guests Teddy Morgan, Big Pete Pearson, Maxine Johnson, and Dave Andrews.

May 11-12, 2001 - Appeared at the Rhythm Room with Henry Gray for his CD release party, including Chico Chism, Johnny Rapp, Paul Thomas and very special guest Bob Margolin.

May 17, 2001 - Appeared at the Rhythm Room at the Dave Trippy Tribute/Benefit. September 2, 2001 - Appeared at the Rhythm Room 10 Year Anniversary / All Day Blues Festival. Bob performed with Chico Chism and the Rhythm Room All-Stars in the 4pm slot. Many other acts shared the bill, including Big Pete Pearson, Whitehead Brothers, Sistah Blue, Chill Factor featuring Al Williams, Cold Shott And The Hurricane Horns featuring Small Paul, Hans Olson, George Bowman, Dave Andrews, Scotty Spenner, and headliners The Holmes Brothers.
